In Oakland we'd call these "hella-gons". But they're going to be sliced into tiles and used on tables for SF so they're still just hexagons…. But there are hella them though.
There are 15 tables to be done and over 1200 tiles.

Those hexagonal logs have been sliced into tiles and are turning into table surfaces. Each 3/4in tile came from a 20ft 6×8 piece of cedar. An incredible amount of milling and detail work to get here.
